5. Setup
5.1 Connecting to a TV
The Tojock DVP-503 DVD Player connects to your television using the included AV (RCAx3) cable. This player does NOT have an HDMI output.
- Locate the AV output ports on the back of the DVD player (Red for Right Audio, White for Left Audio, Yellow for Video).
- Connect the corresponding colored plugs of the AV cable to these ports.
- Locate the AV input ports on your television. These are usually labeled 'AV IN', 'Video In', or 'Component In'.
- Connect the other end of the AV cable to the matching colored input ports on your television.
- Switch your TV's input source to the corresponding AV input (e.g., AV1, Video, Component).

Note: If your TV only has an HDMI port, you will need an external AV to HDMI converter (not included) to connect the DVD player. Connect the AV cable from the DVD player to the converter, and then an HDMI cable from the converter to your TV.

5.2 Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the DVD player and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Disc Playback
- Press the Power button on the DVD player or remote control to turn on the unit.
- Press the Open/Close button to open the disc tray.
- Place a compatible disc (CD, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD, SVCD) onto the disc tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the Open/Close button again to close the disc tray. The player will automatically begin reading the disc.
- Use the Play/Pause, Stop, Previous, Next, Fast Forward, and Fast Rewind buttons on the remote control to manage playback.
Note: This DVD player does NOT support Blu-ray Discs.
6.2 USB Playback
The DVD player features a USB 2.0 input for playing digital audio and video files directly from a USB flash drive (up to 16GB).
- Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the DVD player.
- The player should automatically detect the USB drive and display its contents. If not, press the 'DVD/USB' button on the remote to switch input sources.
- Navigate through your files using the arrow keys and 'OK' button on the remote control.
- Supported video files: 720*480/576 (AVI/MPG/MPEG4/VOB). Supported audio format: MP3.
6.3 Remote Control Functions
The included remote control provides full functionality for the DVD player. Key functions include:
- Power: Turns the player on/off.
- Open/Close: Opens and closes the disc tray.
