4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the 9 AA alkaline batteries into the battery cartridge, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the cartridge.
- Place the loaded battery cartridge back into the flashlight body.
- Screw the tail cap back on by rotating it clockwise until securely tightened. Avoid overtightening.

To adjust the beam from flood to spot, gently twist the head of the flashlight. Rotate in one direction for the Ultra View Flood beam, which provides a wide, even circle of light. Rotate in the opposite direction for the BULLS-EYE Spot beam, which projects a concentrated beam for long-range visibility with a surrounding transitional halo.
5.3 Brightness Modes
The G90 flashlight typically cycles through brightness modes (High, Low) with successive presses of the power button. Press the button once to turn on, press again within a short period to cycle to the next mode. If left on a mode for several seconds, the next press will turn the flashlight off.
