3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED strip light:

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Wipe the area with a clean cloth to remove dust or debris.
2. Measure and Cut (Optional): The LED strip can be cut to your desired length. Locate the designated cutting marks, typically every 3 LEDs, and cut only along these marks. Cutting elsewhere will damage the strip.
3. Attach the Strip: Peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Carefully press the strip onto the prepared surface, ensuring firm contact along its entire length.
4. Connect Components:
   • Connect the LED strip to the RF controller.
   • Connect the RF controller to the 12W ETL listed power adapter.
   • Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Your WOBANE LED strip light can be controlled using the included RF remote or the in-line dimmer.

4.1 RF Remote Control

The RF remote offers 360-degree control with a range of up to 50-60 feet, capable of penetrating obstacles like walls and cabinets.

• Power On/Off: Press the ON or OFF button.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the brightness up/down buttons to adjust light intensity.
• Timing Function: Select from various shutdown timing options.
• Re-match Function: If the remote loses connection, press and hold the controller's button for more than 3 seconds to enter re-match status. The light will flicker to indicate pairing.
• Sync Function: Multiple WOBANE kits can be synced to one remote.

4.2 In-line Dimmer

The in-line dimmer provides a secondary method for basic control:

• Power On/Off: Click the button on the in-line dimmer.
• Brightness Adjustment: Press and hold the button for stepless dimming.

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the strip or its adhesive.
• Adhesive Check: Periodically check the adhesive backing to ensure the strip remains securely attached. If necessary, reinforce with additional adhesive clips or tape.
• Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter is kept in a well-ventilated area and not covered, to prevent overheating.
• Remote Battery: If the RF remote becomes unresponsive, replace its Lithium Metal battery (included).

• Lights Not Turning On:

  • Attempt to re-match the remote with the RF controller by pressing and holding the button on the in-line controller for more than 3 seconds until the light flickers.
• Lights Flickering or Flashing:
  • Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Disconnect the RF controller and connect the LED strip directly to the power adapter. If the lights work without flickering, the RF controller may be defective.
  • Ensure the power adapter is providing stable power.
• Adhesive Not Holding:
