2.2 Initial Setup Steps

- Connect Power: Plug the included power cable into the power port on the back of the Sonos Five and then into a wall outlet.
- Download the Sonos App: Download the Sonos app from your device's app store (available for iOS and Android).
- Follow In-App Instructions: Open the Sonos app and follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Sonos Five to your Wi-Fi network and complete the setup process. This includes Trueplay tuning to adapt the sound to your room's acoustics (requires an iOS device).

- Touch Controls: Tap or swipe the touch controls on the top of the speaker to pause/play music, adjust volume, or skip tracks.
- Direct Streaming: Stream from supported apps like Amazon Music, Audible, Pandora, Spotify, and TIDAL.

3.2 Stereo Sound and Pairing
- Single Speaker: Place a single Sonos Five horizontally for rich stereo sound.
- Stereo Pair: Pair two Sonos Five speakers in an upright position. Each speaker automatically adjusts to mono for more detailed stereo separation and an even wider soundstage, creating a twice as immersive experience.

3.3 Line-In Playback
Connect your turntable, CD player, or other audio device directly to the Sonos Five using the 3.5 mm line-in port on the back of the speaker.
