Safety Information

Important: Before installation or use, ensure all protective films, especially the clear and blue protective film cover on the chimney, are carefully removed. Failure to do so may affect performance and appearance.

Installation

The Tieasy Range Hood is designed for wall-mounted chimney-style installation. It fits 7.5-8.5 ft ceilings, with an adjustable chimney range of 15-3/4 inches minimum to 29-1/2 inches maximum. An extension (Part #USGDEX-01) is available separately for ceilings up to 10 ft.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the wall is structurally sound to support the range hood's weight. Mark the desired height for the range hood, ensuring it is appropriate for your cooking surface.
2. Mount the Support Brackets: Use the provided mounting template (if included) or measure carefully to mark drilling points for the support brackets. Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors as necessary. Secure the support brackets firmly to the wall using the provided screws.
3. Install the Range Hood Body: Carefully lift the range hood body and hook it onto the installed support brackets. Ensure it is securely seated.
4. Connect Ducting: Attach the duct pipe to the air outlet on the range hood. Extend the ducting to your external ventilation system. Ensure all connections are sealed to prevent air leaks.
5. Install Chimney Covers: Slide the chimney flue duct covers into place, securing them to the upper support bracket and the range hood body.
6. Electrical Connection: Connect the range hood to a 120V power source. The unit is designed for simple plug-in operation, eliminating the need for hardwiring.
7. Insert Filters: Ensure the baffle filters are correctly inserted into their slots.

Operating Instructions

Your Tieasy Range Hood features a user-friendly push-button control panel for fan speed and lighting.

Fan Operation:

• The fan offers 3 speeds: Low, Mid, and High.
• Press the corresponding button to select your desired fan speed.
• The powerful 450 CFM airflow effectively removes cooking fumes and odors.
• The ultra-quiet motor ensures noise levels remain below 55dB even at high speed.

Lighting:

• Activate the energy-saving LED lights by pressing the light button.
• The LED lights provide ample illumination for your cooking surface.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning of your range hood and filters is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.

Cleaning Baffle Filters:

• The high-quality stainless steel baffle filters are designed to trap grease effectively.
• To clean, simply remove the filters by pressing the release tab and pulling them down.
• The filters are dishwasher safe, offering a convenient cleaning option. Alternatively, they can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water.
• Ensure filters are completely dry before re-inserting them.

Exterior Cleaning:

• Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could scratch the surface.

Troubleshooting
