1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup and Loading

3.1. Loading CO2 Cartridges

The Crosman AK1 uses two 12-gram CO2 cartridges for power. These are loaded into the magazine.

1. Ensure the air rifle is unloaded and the safety is engaged.
2. Remove the magazine from the air rifle by pressing the magazine release button, typically located near the trigger guard.
3. Locate the CO2 compartment on the magazine. This usually involves sliding a cover or opening a latch.

5. Tighten the CO2 piercing screws until the cartridges are firmly seated and pierced. You may hear a small hiss as the seal is made. Do not overtighten.
6. Close the CO2 compartment cover securely.

3.2. Loading BBs

The AK1 magazine has a capacity of 28 rounds of 4.5mm steel BBs.

1. With the magazine removed from the air rifle, locate the BB loading port.
2. Pull down the BB follower spring until it locks into place, exposing the loading channel.
3. Carefully pour 4.5mm (.177 caliber) steel BBs into the loading port. Do not exceed the 28-round capacity.
4. Release the BB follower spring, ensuring it holds the BBs securely in place.
5. Insert the loaded magazine back into the air rifle until it clicks securely.

4. Operating the Air Rifle

4.1. Safety Selector and Firing Modes
