Setup and Pairing
Follow these steps to set up and pair your Logitech K380 keyboard with your devices.
- Power On: Locate the power switch on the left side of the keyboard and slide it to the ON position. The status indicator light will glow green.
- Select a Channel: Press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) for three seconds until the status light next to the key begins to blink rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on Your Device:
- For Mac: Go to System Settings > Bluetooth.
- For iPad/iPhone: Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- For Android: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
- Pair the Keyboard: In your device's Bluetooth settings, select "Logitech K380" from the list of available devices.
- Enter Pairing Code: A numeric code will appear on your device's screen. Type this code on your K380 keyboard and press the Enter key.
- Confirmation: Once paired, the status light on the Easy-Switch key will glow solid blue for 5 seconds, then turn off. Your keyboard is now connected and ready to use.

Operating Instructions
Switching Between Devices
The K380 keyboard can be paired with up to three different devices simultaneously. To switch between connected devices, simply press the Easy-Switch key (1, 2, or 3) corresponding to the device you wish to use. The keyboard will automatically connect to the selected device.
Function Keys
The top row of keys on the K380 keyboard serves as function keys (F1-F12) and media/shortcut keys. The default behavior depends on your operating system. For Mac users, the keys typically perform macOS-specific functions (e.g., brightness, Mission Control, media controls).
- F1-F3: Easy-Switch keys for device selection.
- F4: Home (for iOS/Android).
- F5: Mission Control (Mac) / App Switcher (iOS/Android).
- F6: Keyboard Backlight (if applicable, K380 does not have backlight).
- F7: Previous Track.
- F8: Play/Pause.
- F9: Next Track.
- F10: Mute Volume.
- F11: Volume Down.
- F12: Volume Up.
- Esc: Escape.
- fn (Function) Key: Press and hold the 'fn' key to access the standard F1-F12 functions if the media/shortcut functions are active, or vice-versa depending on your system settings.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The Logitech K380 keyboard uses two AAA batteries. The estimated battery life is up to 24 months, but actual battery life may vary based on usage. When the battery is low, the status indicator light on the keyboard will turn red.
- Turn off the keyboard using the power switch on the left side.
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Turn on the keyboard.
Cleaning
To clean your keyboard, use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the keyboard in liquid.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not connecting:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on and the battery is not depleted.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Try re-pairing the keyboard by holding an Easy-Switch key for 3 seconds until it blinks, then re-selecting it on your device.
- Ensure the keyboard is within the Bluetooth range (typically up to 10 meters or 33 feet).
- If connected to multiple devices, ensure you have selected the correct Easy-Switch channel.
- Keys not responding:
- Check battery level.
- Try turning the keyboard off and on again.
- Ensure the keyboard is properly paired and connected to your device.
- Input lag or disconnections:
- Move the keyboard closer to your device.
- Avoid interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
- Ensure your device's operating system and Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
