Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using the appliance, follow basic precautions, including the following:

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials, tape, and protective film from the range. Retain packaging for potential future transport. Inspect the range for any shipping damage.

Location Requirements

Ensure the installation area has adequate ventilation and meets all local codes and ordinances. Maintain proper clearances from combustible materials as specified in the installation guide (not included in this manual, refer to separate installation instructions).

Gas and Electrical Connections

Installation of the gas and electrical connections must be performed by a qualified installer or service technician. Ensure the gas supply is compatible with the range (natural gas or LP gas, conversion kit may be required for LP). The range requires a 120V, 60Hz, properly grounded electrical outlet.

Anti-Tip Bracket Installation

The anti-tip bracket is a critical safety device. It must be securely installed to the wall or floor and engaged with the range to prevent accidental tipping. Refer to the separate installation instructions for detailed steps.

Leveling the Range

Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the range to ensure it is stable and level. Use a spirit level to verify. Proper leveling is important for even cooking and safe operation.
