Setup and Installation

Initial Placement

The Real Flame Aegean Fire Pit Table requires no assembly. Place the fire pit on a level, non-combustible surface outdoors. Ensure adequate clearance from combustible materials (walls, furniture, etc.) as specified by local codes and the product's safety labels.

Propane Tank Connection

  1. Ensure the propane tank valve is closed.
  2. Place the propane tank on the provided tank seat, ensuring it is stable and upright.
  3. Connect the regulator hose to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly.
  4. Check all connections for leaks using a soapy water solution. Bubbles indicate a leak. Do not operate if a leak is detected.

Natural Gas Conversion

The included natural gas conversion kit allows the fire pit to operate on natural gas. This conversion must be performed by a certified gas technician. Do not attempt to convert the unit yourself if you are not qualified. Refer to the specific instructions provided with the natural gas conversion kit for detailed steps.

Lava Rock Placement

Carefully place the red lava rock into the burner pan, ensuring not to block the igniter or burner ports. Distribute the lava rock evenly.

Operating Instructions

Ignition (Propane/Natural Gas)

  1. Ensure the control knob on the fire pit is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Slowly open the main gas supply valve (propane tank or natural gas line).
  3. Press and hold the ignition button while simultaneously turning the control knob to the "LOW" position.
  4. Continue to hold the ignition button for 15-20 seconds after the flame ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
  5. Release the ignition button. If the flame extinguishes, repeat steps 3-4.
  6. Adjust the flame height to your desired level by rotating the control knob between "LOW" and "HIGH".

Shutting Down the Fire Pit

  1. Turn the control knob to the "OFF" position.
  2. Close the main gas supply valve (propane tank or natural gas line).
  3. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or moving.

Cleaning

Storage

When not in use, especially during inclement weather or extended periods, cover the fire pit with the included polyester protective cover. Store the propane tank in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Troubleshooting
