Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any shipping damage.

Operating Instructions

3. Score the Tile:
   • Lower the cutting handle so the alloy cutting wheel makes contact with the tile surface at the edge closest to you.
   • Apply steady, even pressure to the handle and push the cutting head along the guide rail away from you, scoring the tile in a single, continuous motion.
   • Ensure the score line is straight and extends from one edge of the tile to the other. Do not make multiple passes, as this can lead to uneven breaks.

4. Break the Tile:
   • Once the tile is scored, position the breaking bar (usually part of the cutting head or a separate lever) directly over the score line.
   • Apply quick, firm downward pressure to the handle. This will snap the tile cleanly along the scored line.
   • For larger tiles, ensure even pressure is applied across the breaking bar.

5. Clean Edges: After breaking, carefully inspect the tile edges. Minor rough spots can be smoothed with a tile rubbing stone or sandpaper.
