Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.
General Cleaning:
- Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Never immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the Removable Filter:
- The filter located behind the spout can be removed for cleaning.

- Gently pull the filter upwards to detach it.
- Rinse the filter under running water and brush gently with a soft brush if necessary to remove any mineral deposits.
- Reinsert the filter by aligning it with the guides and pushing it back into place until it clicks.
Descaling:
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, affecting its performance. Descale your kettle regularly, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
- Pour out the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
- For stubborn deposits, you may need to repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution designed for kettles, following the product's instructions.
