Components

The LUBAN Industrial Signal Tower Light consists of three colored LED layers (Red, Yellow, Green) mounted on a rotatable base. Each layer contains high-brightness LED beads.

The rotatable base allows for versatile mounting options, enabling the light to be positioned optimally for visibility.

4. Setup

4.1 Installation

1. Select a suitable mounting location, ensuring it is stable and provides clear visibility.
2. Use the provided mounting hardware to securely attach the rotatable base to the desired surface (e.g., wall, ceiling, machinery).
3. The base allows for 180-degree rotation. Adjust the angle of the signal tower as needed after mounting.

4.2 Wiring

The signal tower operates on 12V/24V DC. It features multiple wires for connection:

• Black Wire: Common (Negative/Naught wire).
• Red Wire: Controls the Red light.
• Yellow Wire: Controls the Yellow light.
• Green Wire: Controls the Green light.

Connect the black wire to the negative terminal of your DC power supply. Connect the individual color wires to the positive terminal of your DC power supply, or to control switches, to activate the respective lights. Polarity does not matter for the individual color wires, allowing for NPN or PNP configurations.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On

Once wired correctly, apply 12V or 24V DC power to the signal tower. The lights will illuminate according to their individual settings.

5.2 Switching Light Modes (Steady/Flashing)

Each individual light layer (Red, Yellow, Green) has an internal switch to select between steady (continuous) and flashing light modes. To access these switches:

1. Carefully twist and remove the colored lens cover for the desired light layer.
2. Locate the small toggle switch on the LED circuit board for that layer.
3. Toggle the switch to select either the steady or flashing mode.
4. Replace the lens cover securely.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the signal tower with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the wiring for any signs of damage or loose connections. Ensure the mounting base remains secure.
• LED Longevity: The LEDs have a long lifespan and typically do not require replacement.

• Light not illuminating:
  • Check power supply connection and ensure correct voltage (12V/24V DC).
  • Verify wiring connections are secure and correct.
  • Ensure the individual light switch is in the desired position (steady or flashing).
• Light not flashing/staying steady:
  • Remove the lens cover and check the position of the internal mode switch for that specific light layer.
• Intermittent operation:
  • Inspect all wiring for loose connections or damage.
  • Ensure the power supply is stable.
