  4. On the configuration page, select "Internet" or "Wi-Fi Setup" and choose your home Wi-Fi network from the list. Enter your home Wi-Fi password and click "Connect".
  5. The dongle will restart and connect to your home Wi-Fi network. The setup screen on your display will update to show the dongle's new IP address and connection status.

  • Safari browser
  • Chrome browser
  • FaceTime
  • General web browsing and local media playback

4.2 Content Not Supported

  • DIRECTV
  • Hulu (for paid content)

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the device in a dry environment and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not disassemble the device. Unauthorized modifications will void the warranty.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Periodically check the MiraScreen official website for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Display on TV/Projector

  • Ensure the dongle is securely plugged into the HDMI port.
  • Verify that the TV/projector is set to the correct HDMI input source.
  • Check that the dongle is receiving sufficient power. Try plugging the USB power cable into a different USB port or a dedicated 5V/1A USB wall adapter.
  • Restart the TV/projector and the MiraScreen dongle.

6.2 Intermittent Connection or Lag

  • Ensure your source device (phone, tablet, PC) is close to the MiraScreen dongle and within the 10-meter transmission distance.
  • Minimize obstacles between your device and the dongle that might interfere with the Wi-Fi signal.
  • Ensure the dongle's Wi-Fi module is not obstructed, especially if it's behind the TV. An HDMI extension cable (not included) can help position the dongle for better signal reception.
  • Check for Wi-Fi interference from other devices. Try changing your router's Wi-Fi channel if possible.
  • Restart both the MiraScreen dongle and your source device.

6.3 Cannot Connect to Home Wi-Fi

  • Double-check the Wi-Fi password entered during the setup process.
  • Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as the dongle may not support 5GHz networks.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router.
  • Perform a factory reset on the MiraScreen dongle (refer to the device's specific reset method, usually a small button or a power cycle sequence).

6.4 Audio/Video Out of Sync

  • This can sometimes occur with wireless mirroring. Try reducing the distance between the source device and the dongle.
  • Ensure your source device is not running too many background applications.
  • For video playback, consider using DLNA mode if your application supports it, as it often provides better streaming stability.
