2. Safety Information

CAUTION: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, this product should be installed by a licensed professional. Always turn off the power to the circuit before working on any electrical components. Keep the area around the vanity dry and free of water to prevent slips and falls.

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation, including safety glasses and gloves. Ensure adequate ventilation when working with sealants or adhesives. Heavy lifting is required; use proper lifting techniques or seek assistance to prevent injury.

3. Setup and Installation

The vanity base cabinet arrives fully assembled with an open back for plumbing access. The countertop and sink ship separately for safe transport. You will need to attach the sink to the countertop, then secure the top to the vanity base. The countertop is predrilled for an 8-inch widespread, 3-hole faucet (faucet not included).

3.1. Required Tools and Materials (Not Included)

• Silicone sealant (bathroom grade)
• Caulking gun
• Pencil
• Measuring tape
• Level
• Adjustable wrench
• Screwdriver set
• Clean cloths or towels

3.2. Installation Steps

1. Prepare the Area: Ensure the installation area is clean, dry, and level. Turn off water supply lines.
2. Attach the Sink to the Countertop:
   • Carefully place the countertop upside down on a protected, flat surface.
   • Position the undermount sink on the designated area on the underside of the countertop. Use a pencil to mark its exact position.
   • Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant along the rim of the sink where it will meet the countertop.
   • Carefully flip the sink and align it with the marked position on the countertop. Press firmly.
   • Secure the sink using the provided undermount clips and screws. Tighten evenly until snug, but do not overtighten.
   • Allow the silicone to cure for 12 to 24 hours as per manufacturer instructions before moving the countertop.
3. Position the Vanity Base: Place the vanity base cabinet in its final desired location. Ensure it is level using a spirit level and adjust the feet if necessary.
4. Secure the Countertop: Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant along the top edges of the vanity base cabinet. Carefully lift the countertop (with the attached sink) and place it onto the vanity base, aligning it properly. Press down firmly.
5. Install Backsplash: Apply silicone sealant to the back edge of the countertop and to the back of the backsplash piece. Carefully place the backsplash against the wall and countertop, pressing firmly to ensure a good seal.
6. Connect Plumbing: Install your chosen faucet, drain, and P-trap according to their respective manufacturer's instructions. Ensure all connections are watertight.
7. Wipe Away Excess: Immediately wipe away any excess silicone sealant with a damp cloth before it cures.

4. Operating Instructions

Your ARIEL Cambridge vanity is designed for ease of use and durability.

• Soft-Closing Doors: The two main cabinet doors are equipped with soft-closing hinges. To open, gently pull the door. To close, push the door lightly, and the soft-close mechanism will engage, allowing it to close quietly and smoothly.
• Soft-Closing Drawers: The nine full-extension dovetail drawers also feature soft-closing glides. To open, pull the drawer handle. To close, push the drawer gently, and the soft-close mechanism will ensure a quiet and controlled closure. Avoid forcing drawers or doors shut.

• Cabinet Care: The vanity features a Sherwin-Williams polyurethane paint finish, designed to retain color and resist surface wear. Clean the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. • Quartz Countertop Care: The polished, double-sealed Pure White Quartz countertop is non-porous and resistant to stains, scratches, and moisture. No sealing is required after installation. Clean with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid strong acids, alkalis, or harsh chemicals.
• Sink Care: Clean the porcelain undermount sink with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
• Hardware Care: The satin brass hardware can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, as they may tarnish the finish.

If you encounter issues with your vanity, refer to the following common solutions:

• Drawers or Doors Not Closing Smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the drawer glides or door hinges. Ensure the vanity is level. The soft-closing mechanisms are designed for smooth operation; avoid forcing them.
