3. Power Supply Installation
The power supply unit (PSU) is mounted at the front of the chassis. Secure the PSU using the provided screws.
4. Storage Drive Installation
Install your 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch storage drives into the designated bays. Refer to the accessory box for specific mounting hardware and locations.
5. Cooling System Configuration
The Evolv X2 features a vertical cooling system designed for optimal airflow. It supports:
- Bottom Intake: Triple 120mm fan positions for air intake.
- Top Exhaust: Triple 120mm fan positions with dedicated 360mm radiator clearance for exhaust.
- Rear Exhaust: One 120mm fan position.
Ensure fans are oriented correctly for intake and exhaust to maintain efficient airflow.

8. D-RGB Lighting Connection
Connect the integrated D-RGB lighting cables to your motherboard's D-RGB header or a compatible D-RGB controller. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific D-RGB header locations.
Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and connected, replace the tempered glass panels. Connect your peripherals and power cable, then power on your system.
The integrated D-RGB lighting can be controlled via compatible motherboard software or an external D-RGB controller, allowing for customization of lighting effects and colors.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your chassis and components.
- Dust Filters: Periodically clean the dust filters located at the intake points (e.g., bottom of the chassis) to maintain optimal airflow and prevent dust buildup inside the system.
- Tempered Glass Panels: Clean the tempered glass panels with a soft, lint-free cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the glass or coatings.
- Interior Cleaning: Use compressed air to remove dust from internal components and fan blades. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
- System Not Powering On:
- Verify all power cables are securely connected to the motherboard, graphics card, and power supply.
- Ensure the power supply switch is in the "ON" position.
- Check front panel header connections to the motherboard (Power SW, Reset SW).
- D-RGB Lighting Not Working:
- Confirm D-RGB cables are correctly connected to the motherboard's D-RGB header or a dedicated controller.
- Ensure D-RGB software (if applicable) is installed and configured correctly.
- Poor Airflow/High Temperatures:
- Check fan orientation; intake fans should draw air in, exhaust fans should push air out.
- Clean dust filters and internal components.
- Ensure no cables are obstructing airflow paths.
