Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WUBEN C3 flashlight.

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth to avoid scratches. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • O-Ring Maintenance: The flashlight's IP68 water resistance relies on properly sealed O-rings. Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear or damage. Lubricate them with silicone grease if they appear dry. The packing list indicates spare O-rings are included for replacement.
  • Charging Port: Keep the Type-C charging port clean and free of debris. Always ensure the rubber flap is securely closed when not charging to prevent water and dust ingress.
  • Storage: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% capacity and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
