Setup and Assembly
Before First Use
- Unpack all components and accessories.
- Wash the processing bowl, lid, chopping blade, cutting discs, potato cutter attachments, kneader, whisk head, and measuring cup in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
Assembling the Food Processor
Follow these steps to assemble the food processor for your desired task:
- Place the processing bowl onto the motor unit base, ensuring it locks securely into position.
- Insert the desired attachment (e.g., chopping blade, slicing disc, kneader) onto the central shaft inside the bowl. Ensure it sits firmly.
- Place the lid onto the processing bowl, aligning the tabs and rotating until it locks securely. The appliance will not operate if the lid is not correctly locked.
- For slicing or grating, use the feeding chute on the lid to add ingredients.
Operation
General Operation
The MPM MRK-17 features 6 speed settings and a Turbo function for maximum power.
- Ensure the appliance is correctly assembled and the lid is locked.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet (220 Volts).
- Turn the speed control dial on the motor unit to select your desired speed (1-6).
- For short bursts of maximum power, press and hold the 'Turbo' button.
- After use, turn the speed dial to '0' and unplug the appliance.

Using the Chopping Blade
The chopping blade is ideal for processing fruits, vegetables, nuts, and herbs.
- Insert the chopping blade onto the central shaft in the processing bowl.
- Add ingredients to the bowl. Do not overfill.
- Secure the lid and operate at desired speed. Use pulse action for coarse chopping.

Using the Slicing/Grating Discs
Use the two cutting discs for uniform slicing or grating of vegetables and cheese.
- Place the desired cutting disc onto the central shaft.
- Secure the lid.
- Feed ingredients through the chute using the food pusher.

Using the Potato Cutter Attachments
The appliance includes two attachments for cutting potatoes into fries of different sizes.
- Assemble the potato cutter attachment according to the diagram in the manual (refer to image of functions).
- Place peeled potatoes into the feeding chute and push down gently.
Using the Kneader
The kneader attachment is suitable for preparing dough for bread, cookies, or mixing thick sauces.
- Attach the kneader to the central shaft.
- Add ingredients for dough or sauce.
- Operate at a low to medium speed until desired consistency is achieved.
Using the Whisk Attachment
The stainless steel whisk head allows you to use the MRK-17 as an immersion blender for whipping cream or egg whites.
- Attach the whisk head to the motor unit.
- Immerse the whisk into the ingredients.
- Operate at a suitable speed until light and fluffy.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Disassembly for Cleaning
- Always unplug the appliance before disassembling.
- Carefully remove the lid from the processing bowl.
- Remove the attachment (blade, disc, kneader, whisk) from the central shaft. Handle sharp blades with extreme caution.
- Remove the processing bowl from the motor unit base.
Cleaning Instructions
- The processing bowl, lid, chopping blade, cutting discs, potato cutter attachments, kneader, and whisk head are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
- Alternatively, wash these parts in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surfaces.
Storage
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storage.
