• Electrical Safety: Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. Ensure the appliance is properly grounded. Do not immerse the machine in water.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3 from its packaging. Ensure all components are present.
2. Handle Assembly: The handle is designed to fold for storage. To set up for use, lift the handle to the upright position until it locks into place. Press the "HANDLE RELEASE" button to adjust the handle angle as needed.
3. Fill Clean Water Tank: Locate the "CLEAN WATER TANK" (upper tank). Remove it by lifting the "TANK HANDLE". Fill the tank with hot tap water (do not use boiling water) and the recommended amount of Rug Doctor cleaning solution. Replace the tank securely.

4. Prepare Waste Water Tank: Ensure the "WASTE WATER TANK" (lower tank) is empty and properly seated. This tank collects the dirty water extracted from the carpet.
5. Power Connection: Unwind the power cord and plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Pre-Vacuum: Always vacuum the area thoroughly with a dry vacuum cleaner before using the Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3. This prevents loose dirt and debris from clogging the machine.
2. Start Machine: Turn on the machine using the power switch located on the handle.
3. Cleaning Technique: Press the "DEEP CLEAN" button on the handle to release cleaning solution. Slowly pull the machine backward over the carpet, overlapping each pass slightly. Release the "DEEP CLEAN" button when pushing the machine forward. For heavily soiled areas, repeat the process.

4. Monitor Tanks: Observe the waste water tank as it fills with dirty water. When the clean water tank is empty or the waste water tank is full, turn off the machine.
5. Upholstery/Hand Tool (Sold Separately): For cleaning upholstery, stairs, or hard-to-reach areas, attach the optional hand tool to the designated connection port on the back of the machine. Follow the specific instructions provided with the hand tool for its operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Rug Doctor Mighty Pro X3.

• Empty and Rinse Tanks: After each use, empty the dirty water from the waste water tank. Rinse both the clean and waste water tanks thoroughly with clean water.
• Clean Filter: Inspect and clean the filter located in the waste water tank. Remove any debris or lint to maintain proper suction.
• Wipe Down Machine: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
• Store Properly: Store the machine in an upright position in a dry, climate-controlled area. Ensure the handle is folded down for compact storage if desired.
