Safety Information

To ensure product longevity and prevent potential damage or flooding, please observe the following:

  • It is strongly suggested to close the water supply to the bidet if the sprayer will be idle for an extended period. Constant water pressure can weaken internal components of the sprayer head and hose, potentially leading to leaks or damage over time.
  • Always turn off the water supply before attempting any adjustments or troubleshooting related to leaks.

Setup and Installation

The Veken VK590 bidet kit is designed for quick and easy installation. Ensure your toilet tank's water inlet diameter is 7/8 inches before proceeding.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off the water supply to your toilet and flush the toilet to empty the tank.
  2. Install T-Valve: Disconnect the existing water supply line from the bottom of your toilet tank. Connect the 7/8 inches brass T-valve to the toilet tank's water inlet. Ensure the larger black washers are used for this connection to prevent leaks.
  3. Connect Water Supply Line: Reconnect your main water supply line to the bottom of the T-valve.
  4. Attach Bidet Hose: Screw off the protective cap from the bidet hose. Secure the smaller black washers at both ends of the spiral bidet hose. Connect one end of the spiral hose to the T-valve and the other end to the handheld sprayer.
  5. Mount Holder Hook:

Image: Illustration of the two available mounting options for the bidet sprayer holder: wall-mounted using screws, and toilet tank-mounted by hooking onto the tank rim.

The holder hook offers two mounting options:

    • Toilet Tank Mounted: Slide the holder hook onto the side of your toilet tank.
    • Wall Mounted: Use the provided screws and nuts to securely attach the holder hook to a wall near your toilet.
  6. Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply to the toilet. Inspect all connections for any leaks. If a leak occurs, turn off the water supply immediately. Leaks during installation may be due to connectors not aligning or being in the wrong position. Re-check connections and ensure washers are properly seated.

A mesh screen is provided to prevent impurities from entering the bidet hose and causing blockage. Ensure it is properly installed.

    • Feminine Sprayer: Provides a gentle, bubble-like water flow, ideal for personal cleaning.
    • Jet Sprayer: Delivers powerful, dense water flow for rapid flushing and strong decontamination, suitable for toilet cleaning, cloth diaper washing, and general housework hygiene.
These two modes can be successfully switched by twisting the nozzle of the sprayer.

The spiral hose is made of tough PU material, designed to prevent inflation or bursting under pressure. It extends up to 9.84 feet, offering convenient usage and reach for various cleaning tasks.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Veken VK590 bidet.

  • Regular Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the bidet sprayer and hose with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Preventing Blockage: The included mesh screen helps prevent impurities from entering the hose. Periodically check and clean the mesh screen if you notice reduced water flow.
  • Water Supply Management: As a safety measure and to prolong product life, always close the water supply to the bidet when it will not be used for an extended period. This reduces constant pressure on internal components.

Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Veken VK590 bidet.

Leakage Issues:

  • Problem: Water leakage at connections during or after installation.
  • Solution:
    • Immediately turn off the main water supply to the toilet.
    • Leaks often occur if connectors are not properly aligned or are in the wrong position.
    • Ensure that the correct black washers (larger for tank/water supply, smaller for bidet hose ends) are securely in place and not twisted or damaged.
    • Tighten connections firmly by hand, then use the provided spanner for a final snug turn, being careful not to overtighten.
    • Ensure the protective cap was screwed off the bidet hose before installation.
    • Slowly turn the water supply back on and re-check for leaks.

Reduced Water Flow:

  • Problem: Water flow from the sprayer is weak or inconsistent.
  • Solution:
    • Check if the mesh screen at the hose inlet is clogged with impurities. Clean it if necessary.
    • Ensure the main water supply valve to the toilet is fully open.
    • Verify that the nozzle is not partially blocked.
