This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your new stylus pen.

3. Setup

The Tek Styz Pro Stylus Capacitive Pen is designed for immediate use with most capacitive touchscreen devices, including your Oppo CPH2025. No batteries, charging, or Bluetooth pairing is required for the stylus function.

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the stylus pen from its packaging.
2. Inspect: Check the stylus tip and pen tip for any visible damage.
3. Ready for Use: The stylus is ready to interact with your touchscreen device. The ballpoint pen is ready for writing on paper.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Capacitive Stylus

The capacitive stylus end is designed for precise interaction with any capacitive touchscreen, such as smartphones, tablets, and touchscreen laptops. It replaces finger-touching, keeping your screen clean and free of smudges.

• Gently touch the soft, rounded stylus tip to your device's screen.
• Use it for navigation, typing, drawing, or playing games.
• Apply light pressure; excessive force is not necessary and may damage the tip.

4.2 Using the Ballpoint Pen

The other end of the device functions as a standard ballpoint pen for traditional writing tasks.

• Twist the barrel of the pen to extend or retract the ballpoint tip.
• Use it for writing on paper, notebooks, or any other suitable surface.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Stylus Tip

To ensure optimal performance and prevent damage to your screen, keep the stylus tip clean.

• Wipe the silicone tip gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the tip is completely dry before using it on your touchscreen.

5.2 Replacing the Ink Cartridge

When the ballpoint pen runs out of ink, the cartridge can be replaced with commonly found pen replacement cartridges (not included, sold separately).

1. Gently pull apart the pen barrel to access the ink cartridge.
2. Remove the empty cartridge.
3. Insert a new, compatible ink cartridge.
4. Reassemble the pen barrel securely.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Stylus Not Responding

• Clean Screen: Ensure your device's screen is clean and free of dust, smudges, or liquids.
• Clean Stylus Tip: Wipe the stylus tip with a clean, dry cloth.
• Device Compatibility: Confirm your device has a capacitive touchscreen. The stylus is not compatible with resistive screens.
• Screen Protector: Some thick or improperly installed screen protectors may interfere with stylus sensitivity.

6.2 Ballpoint Pen Not Writing

• Check Ink Level: The ink cartridge may be empty. Refer to Section 5.2 for ink replacement.
• Dry Ink: If the pen has not been used for a while, the ink may have dried. Try scribbling on a piece of scrap paper to get the ink flowing.
• Tip Clog: The ballpoint tip might be clogged. Gently wipe the tip with a damp cloth.
