3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the AP-PRT-B1. The charging time is approximately 4 hours.

  1. Locate the DC 5V input port on the control panel.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V input port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
  4. The charging indicator (if present) will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

3.2 Powering On/Off

To power on the device, press and hold the Volume/Power knob until the display illuminates. To power off, press and hold the Volume/Power knob again until the display turns off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Mode Selection

Press the Mode (M) button repeatedly to cycle through the available input modes:

  • FM Radio: Listen to FM radio stations.
  • USB: Play audio files from a USB flash drive.
  • AUX: Play audio from an external device connected via a 3.5mm audio cable.
  • Wireless Music Stream (Bluetooth): Connect wirelessly to a Bluetooth-enabled device.

4.2 FM Radio Operation

  1. Extend the retractable antenna for optimal reception.
  2. Switch to FM mode using the Mode (M) button.
  3. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  4. Use the Previous/Next buttons to navigate between saved stations or manually tune.

4.3 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 or WMA audio files into the USB port.
  2. Switch to USB mode using the Mode (M) button. The device will automatically begin playing the first compatible track.
  3. Use the Previous/Next buttons to skip tracks.
  4. Press the Play/Pause button to pause or resume playback.

4.4 AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the AP-PRT-B1.
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
  3. Switch to AUX mode using the Mode (M) button.
  4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

4.5 Wireless Music Stream (Bluetooth)

  1. Switch to Wireless Music Stream mode using the Mode (M) button. The display will show "BT" or a similar indicator, and the device will enter pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "AP-PRT-B1" from the list of found devices to pair.
  4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device, and it will stream through the AP-PRT-B1.
  5. Use the Previous/Next and Play/Pause buttons on the AP-PRT-B1 or your connected device to control playback.

4.6 Volume Adjustment

Rotate the Volume/Power knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
