4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before initial use, fully charge the speaker using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the USB-C port on the rear of the speaker and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power button on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "LG PL7" from the list of devices to pair.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Sound Boost

Press the Sound Boost button on the top panel to enhance the sound, providing increased mids and bass for a more immersive audio experience.

5.2 LED Lighting

The LG XBOOM Go PL7 features multi-color LED lights that can sync to the beat of your music. Use the Light button on the rear panel to cycle through different lighting modes or turn the lights off. For advanced customization, use the LG XBOOM App.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Water Resistance (IPX5)

The speaker is IPX5-rated water-resistant, meaning it can withstand low-pressure water jet spray from 2.5-3m away for 3 minutes. Ensure the protective rubber flap covering the ports is securely closed to maintain water resistance. Do not charge the device while wet. Dry thoroughly before charging.

6.2 General Care

Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect to a power source using the USB Type-C cable.
• Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (Bluetooth indicator flashing). Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that the speaker is within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
• No Sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired.
• Sound Distortion: Reduce the volume on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the audio source is of good quality.
• Reset: If the speaker is unresponsive, locate the Reset button on the rear panel (under the protective flap) and press it with a thin, pointed object.
