- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when performance degrades. Always use new, high-quality batteries of the specified type (AAA for keyboard, AA for mouse).
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- USB Receiver: Keep the USB receiver free from dust and debris. When transporting the mouse, store the receiver in its designated compartment to prevent loss.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your wireless keyboard and mouse combo, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
Connection Issues (Keyboard or Mouse Unresponsive)
- Check Batteries: Ensure that fresh batteries are correctly installed in both the keyboard and mouse. Low batteries are a common cause of connectivity problems.
- Verify USB Receiver: Confirm that the USB nano receiver is securely plugged into an active USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port if necessary.
- Reduce Distance: Move the keyboard and mouse closer to the USB receiver. The effective wireless range is up to 34 feet, but obstacles or interference can reduce this.
- Restart Device: Restart your computer or device to refresh the USB connections.
Lagging or Intermittent Response
- Check for Interference: Other 2.4GHz wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) can cause interference. Try to move these devices further away or use the combo in a less congested area.
- Low Battery: Even if the device is still functioning, low battery power can lead to reduced performance. Replace batteries.
Specific Keys or Mouse Buttons Not Working
- Check for Debris: Inspect the affected keys or buttons for any physical obstructions or debris that might be preventing proper operation.
- Software Issues: Ensure your operating system and any relevant drivers are up to date.
