Setup

Unpacking and Placement

  1. Carefully remove the Sound Tower from its packaging.
  2. Ensure all included accessories are present: 1 Remote Controller, Wheels (pre-installed or to be attached).
  3. Place the Sound Tower on a stable, flat surface. The unit is designed for floor standing.
  4. For optimal sound dispersion, position the speaker in an open area, allowing the bi-directional sound to spread effectively.

Power Connection

Connect the power cord to the AC inlet on the rear of the Sound Tower, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the Power button on the top panel or the remote control to turn the Sound Tower on or off.

Bluetooth Connection

To connect your mobile device via Bluetooth:

  1. Press the Source button on the Sound Tower or remote until "BT" appears on the display.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Samsung MX-T70" from the list. Once connected, the Sound Tower will indicate a successful pairing.

The Sound Tower supports Bluetooth Multi-Connection, allowing two mobile devices to be paired simultaneously. This enables seamless switching between audio sources without re-pairing.

USB Music Playback

Insert a USB drive containing audio files (MP3, WMA) into the USB port on the rear panel. The Sound Tower will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback. Use the playback controls on the top panel or remote to manage your music.

Analog Audio Input (3.5mm)

Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port on the rear panel. Select the AUX source on the Sound Tower.

Karaoke Mode

Connect up to two microphones to the Karaoke Mic In ports on the rear panel. Adjust microphone volume and echo effects as desired for a karaoke experience.

Party Lighting

Press the Light button on the top panel or remote to cycle through various party lighting modes: PARTY, AMBIENT, DANCE, THUNDERBOLT, STAR, LOVER. The lights sync with the music for an enhanced visual experience.

Sound Modes and Bass Booster

Cycle through sound modes like PARTY, STANDARD (MONO), HIPHOP, EDM, ROCK, LATIN using the Sound Mode button. Activate the Bass Booster for an intensified bass response by pressing the BASS button on the top panel or remote.

Wireless Group Play

Connect multiple Samsung Sound Tower devices wirelessly to create a larger, more immersive sound system. Refer to the Samsung Sound Tower App for detailed instructions on setting up Group Play.
