3. Setup

3.1 Initial Connection and Charging

1. Connect the power adapter to the base and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Place the headset onto the charging base. Ensure the headset is properly seated for charging. The charging indicator on the base will illuminate.
3. Allow the headset to charge fully before first use (approximately 2-3 hours).

3.2 Pairing the Headset to the Base

The headset and base are typically pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is necessary, follow these steps:

1. Place the headset into the charging cradle. The base's deskphone icon should light up green, indicating a connection.
2. If the headset does not pair, remove the power cable from the charging base. Wait for 5-30 seconds, then reconnect the power.
3. Once the base reboots and the light turns solid, remove the headset from the cradle. Press the Call Control button on the headset. The deskphone icon on the base should light up green.
4. For over-the-air pairing (if previous steps fail):
   • With the headset off the cradle, press and hold the Volume Up button on the headset until the green LED lights on the side of the headset turn on.
   • While the headset LEDs are on, press the Link button on the back of the charging base. The link icon on the base display will flash for approximately 3 seconds.
   • Once the link icon turns solid, the headset is paired. Press the Call Control button on the headset to confirm the green light on the charging base turns on.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Making and Receiving Calls

• To answer or end a call, press the Call Control button on the headset.
• To make a call, dial the number on your deskphone, then press the Call Control button on the headset.
• Adjust volume using the Volume Up/Down buttons on the headset.
• To mute the microphone, press the Mute button on the microphone boom.

4.2 Wireless Range and Movement

The headset offers a wireless range of up to 400 feet from the base. This allows for freedom of movement while maintaining clear communication.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the headset and base with a soft, dry cloth.
