Monopoly: Star Wars The Child Edition Board Game Instruction Manual

Model: F2013

1. Introduction and Overview

Embark on a galactic adventure with The Child, affectionately known as "Baby Yoda" by fans, in this special edition of Monopoly. Inspired by the live-action TV series The Mandalorian on Disney Plus, this board game allows players to travel around the gameboard, buying and selling Hideouts and Common Houses, and navigating challenges presented by Camtono cards and Bounty Puck cards. The objective remains classic Monopoly: be the last player remaining after everyone else has gone bankrupt.

  1. Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the corresponding number of spaces.
  2. Follow the instructions on the space you land on:
    • Unowned Property: You may buy it for the price listed on the Property Deed card. If you decline, the property is put up for auction among all players.
    • Owned Property: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent as indicated on their Property Deed card.
    • Camtono or Bounty Puck: Draw the top card from the respective pile and follow its instructions.
    • Go to Jail: Move your token directly to the Jail space. Your turn ends.
    • Go: Passing or landing on "GO" allows you to collect 200 Monopoly currency from the bank.
  3. If you rolled doubles, take another turn after completing your first. Three consecutive doubles send you to Jail.

4.2 Buying and Selling

  • Building Hideouts and Common Houses: Once you own all properties in a color set, you can begin building Hideouts. You must build evenly across the properties in the set. Once you have four Hideouts on each property in a set, you can upgrade them to a Common House.
