Product Overview
This first edition of PICTIONARY is the rousing board game that is played like charades, only on paper. Instead of acting, you and your teammates try to guess the identities of various words by sketching clues to each other. You don't have to be an artist to play, all that's needed is imagination and a fast pencil.

Operating Instructions (How to Play)
Pictionary is a game where teams compete to guess words based on drawings. The game proceeds as follows:
- Starting the Game: The first team rolls the die and moves their marker the corresponding number of spaces.
- Drawing a Card: The player whose turn it is draws a word card from the deck. The color of the space their marker landed on indicates which word on the card they must draw.
- Drawing and Guessing: Once the word is identified, the one-minute timer is started. The player draws clues on their pad of paper to help their teammates guess the word. No talking, gesturing, or writing letters/numbers is allowed.
- Successful Guess: If the team guesses the word before the timer runs out, they get to roll the die and move again.
- Unsuccessful Guess: If the team does not guess the word before the timer runs out, their turn ends, and play passes to the next team.
- All Play Spaces: Some spaces on the board are "All Play" spaces. When a marker lands on an "All Play" space, both teams can attempt to guess the drawing. The first team to correctly guess the word gets to move their marker.
- Winning the Game: The first team to successfully reach the "FINISH" space and correctly guess their final drawing wins the game.
Maintenance
- Store all game components in the original box to prevent loss or damage.
- Keep the game board and cards away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent warping or fading.
- Replace pencils as needed.
- If the timer is damaged or lost, a replacement one-minute timer can be used (e.g., a timer on a smartphone).
Troubleshooting
- Missing Components: If any components are missing upon opening, please contact the retailer or manufacturer for assistance.
- Damaged Timer: If the included sand timer is not functioning correctly, use an alternative one-minute timer, such as a digital timer on a phone or a separate kitchen timer.
- Difficulty with Drawings: Remember, Pictionary does not require artistic skill. Focus on conveying the essence of the word through simple shapes and lines.
