4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation

The device will typically power on automatically or can be turned on by pressing the measurement trigger.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Taking a Temperature Reading
- Ensure the thermometer is in "Body" mode for human temperature measurement. If not, press the "M" (Mode) button to switch.
- Point the infrared sensor towards the forehead of the person, maintaining a distance of 5-15 cm.
- Press and hold the measurement trigger. The device will scan and display the temperature within 1 second.
- Release the trigger to hold the reading on the display. The reading will automatically be stored in memory.
5.2 Memory Function
The MS6590P can store up to 20 temperature readings.
- To view stored readings, press the "MEM" button.
- Each press of the "MEM" button will cycle through the stored readings.
5.3 Unit Conversion (Celsius/Fahrenheit)
Refer to the device's specific instructions for changing between Celsius (ºC) and Fahrenheit (ºF), usually involving a combination of button presses or a switch within the battery compartment.
5.4 Automatic Shutdown
