  • Dlyfull B3 Battery Checker x1
  • 1.5V AAA Batteries x2 (pre-installed)
  • Instruction Manual x1

4. Setup

Before first use, ensure the internal 1.5V AAA batteries are properly installed. These batteries power the tester's LCD display and internal circuitry.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Dlyfull B3.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Verify that the two 1.5V AAA batteries are correctly inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5. Operation

Follow these steps to accurately test your batteries:

  1. Select Battery Type: Rotate the central dial on the Dlyfull B3 to match the voltage and type of the battery you intend to test. Ensure the selected setting corresponds accurately to your battery (e.g., 1.5V ALK for alkaline batteries, 3.7V Li-ion for lithium-ion batteries).
  2. Connect Test Probes:
    • Connect the red test probe to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
    • Connect the black test probe to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
Ensure firm and stable contact between the probes and the battery terminals.
  3. Read Measurements: Hold the probes in place for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD screen will display the following information:
    • Voltage (V): The current voltage of the battery.
    • Internal Resistance (Ω): The internal resistance value of the battery.
    • Remaining Capacity (%): An estimated percentage of the battery's remaining charge.
  4. Interpret Results: Use the displayed information to assess the battery's health. A low voltage, high internal resistance, or low remaining capacity may indicate that the battery needs to be recharged or replaced.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the Dlyfull B3 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: If the internal 1.5V AAA batteries that power the tester's display are low, replace them promptly to ensure accurate readings and proper device function.
  • Probe Care: Keep the test probes clean and free of debris to ensure good electrical contact. If terminals are dirty, clean them before testing.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Faint Display:
    • Check if the internal 1.5V AAA batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure the rotary dial is set to the correct battery type and voltage.
    • Verify that the test probes have firm and clean contact with the battery terminals. Clean terminals if dirty.
    • Test the device with a known good battery to confirm functionality.
  • Device Not Responding:
    • Remove and reinsert the internal AAA batteries.
    • If the issue persists, contact customer support.
