2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The i5T EOS is powered by one 1.5V AA Alkaline battery (included) or a compatible AA NiMH battery. Note: This flashlight is NOT compatible with Li-ion batteries.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the AA battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is fully tightened. Ensure a secure connection for proper operation.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
- Momentary On: Lightly press the tail switch for momentary illumination. Release to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Fully press the tail switch until a click is heard for constant illumination. Press again to turn off.
3.2 Mode Switching
The i5T EOS has two brightness modes: 15 lumens (Low) and 300 lumens (High).
- When the flashlight is on, quickly press the tail switch (without clicking) to cycle between Low (15 lumens) and High (300 lumens) modes.
- The flashlight will default to the Low mode (15 lumens) when first turned on.

3.3 Versatile Carry Options
The dual-direction pocket clip allows for flexible carrying and usage:
- Attach to a pocket or belt for easy access.
- Clip to a hat brim to use as a hands-free headlamp.
- The lanyard hole on the clip can accept a 1.5mm diameter lanyard cord for additional security.

4. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the flashlight body. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
- Battery Care: Remove the battery if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- O-rings: Periodically check the O-rings for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain water resistance. Lubricate with silicone grease if necessary.
- Threads: Keep the threads of the tail cap clean and lightly lubricated to ensure smooth operation and good electrical contact.
