4. Installation

4.1 Pre-installation

Live + Neutral Wiring:

Connect the live wire (L), the light control wires (L1, L2 for each gang), and the neutral wire (N) to the corresponding terminals on the back of the switch. For this method, no capacitor is required.

No Neutral Wiring:

If your electrical box does not have a neutral wire, you can still install the MCE703W switch. Connect the phase wire (L) to the 'L' terminal and the light control wires (L1, L2) to their respective terminals. In this configuration, a capacitor must be connected in parallel to the light source (not the switch) to prevent flickering or residual glow. Connect the capacitor to the L1 and Neutral wires of the light fixture.
