2.2 Attaching the Sensor to the Strap
Align the two snap fasteners on the back of the heart rate sensor with the corresponding snaps on the elastic chest strap. Press firmly until they click into place. Ensure the 'MOOFIT' logo on the sensor is facing outwards when worn.
2.3 Moistening the Electrodes
Before wearing, lightly moisten the two electrode areas on the back of the chest strap with water or electrode gel. This improves conductivity and ensures accurate heart rate readings.
2.4 Wearing and Adjusting the Chest Strap
Place the chest strap around your chest, just below your pectoral muscles or bra line. The sensor should be centered on your sternum. Adjust the strap length to ensure a snug, comfortable fit that does not restrict breathing. The strap is adjustable from 65 to 95 cm.

3. Operating Instructions
Once your moofit HR6 is properly set up and connected to your desired device or app, it will automatically begin tracking your heart rate. Ensure the electrodes remain moist during your workout for continuous and accurate data transmission.
- Real-Time Data: Your connected device/app will display your current heart rate, and often provide additional metrics like calorie consumption, training zones, and workout duration.
- Workout Analysis: Utilize the features of your chosen fitness app to analyze your performance, track progress over time, and adjust your training intensity based on heart rate zones.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Chest Strap
After each use, detach the sensor from the strap. Rinse the elastic chest strap under running water and hang it to dry. For a more thorough cleaning, the strap can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this may damage the electrodes.
4.2 Battery Replacement
The moofit HR6 uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery. The battery life is approximately 10-12 months with typical use. When the battery is low, your connected device/app may indicate a weak signal or loss of connection.
- Using a coin, gently twist the battery cover on the back of the sensor counter-clockwise to open.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
- Replace the battery cover and twist clockwise to secure it. Ensure the seal is tight to maintain water resistance.
4.3 Water Resistance
The moofit HR6 sensor is designed with an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is suitable for use during sweaty workouts and in rainy conditions. However, it is not recommended for swimming.

- Battery Check: The battery might be low or depleted. Replace the CR2032 battery if necessary.
- Re-pair Device: Disconnect and re-pair the heart rate monitor with your fitness device/app.
- Interference: Move away from strong electromagnetic fields or other wireless devices that might cause interference.
5.2 Difficulty Connecting via Bluetooth/ANT+

- Device Compatibility: Confirm your device/app supports Bluetooth 4.0 (or higher) and/or ANT+.
- Proximity: Keep the heart rate monitor close to your receiving device during pairing.
- Previous Connections: If previously paired with another device, ensure it is disconnected from that device before attempting to pair with a new one.
- Restart Devices: Try restarting your smartphone, fitness watch, or bike computer.
