Setup Guide

1. Connecting Speakers

Connect your passive speakers to the "ROUT LOUT" (Left/Right Output) terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier. Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative) for optimal sound quality. The amplifier supports speakers with 4-16 ohm impedance.

2. Connecting Power

Plug the provided DC12V/3A power supply into the "DC12/3A" port on the rear of the amplifier, then connect the power supply to a wall outlet.

3. Connecting Input Sources

The MAMP2 amplifier offers multiple ways to connect your audio sources:

• Bluetooth Connection:

  Switch the amplifier to Bluetooth mode using the "MODE" button. The BT indicator light will illuminate. On your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "MAMP2". Select it to connect. A beep sound will confirm successful pairing (if speakers are connected).

• AUX/RCA Input:

  Connect external audio sources such as DVD players, TVs, computers, or MP3 players to the "RIGHT AUDIO INPUT" and "LEFT AUDIO INPUT" RCA ports on the rear panel using an RCA cable. Switch the amplifier to AUX mode.

• USB Input:

  Insert a USB flash drive (maximum 32GB) containing music files (MP3, APE, WAV, WMA formats) into the USB port on the front panel. The amplifier will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.

• FM Radio:

  Extend the FM antenna located on the rear of the amplifier for better reception. Switch the amplifier to FM mode using the "MODE" button. Use the remote control to scan for stations.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Rotate the "VOL/POWER" knob clockwise to turn the amplifier on. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off. The remote control also has an ON/OFF button.

Mode Selection

Press the "MODE" button on the front panel or the remote control to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), FM Radio, USB, and AUX (RCA).

Volume, Treble, and Bass Control

• Volume: Adjust the main volume using the large "VOL/POWER" knob on the front panel or the Volume +/- buttons on the remote control.
• Treble: Use the "TREBLE" knob on the front panel to adjust high-frequency sounds.
• Bass: Use the "BASS" knob on the front panel to adjust low-frequency sounds.

Remote Control Functions

Troubleshooting

Bluetooth Connection Issues

If Bluetooth is not working or the connection is unstable, try the following:

1. Ensure the amplifier is in Bluetooth mode (BT indicator light should be on). If not, press the "MODE" button to switch.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your input device (e.g., mobile phone), search for "MAMP2", and click to connect. A beep indicates a successful connection (speakers must be connected).
3. Ensure there are no obstacles, especially metal objects, blocking the signal between your device and the amplifier.
4. Turn off the amplifier, disconnect, and clear the connection from your Bluetooth transmitting device, then attempt to reconnect.

Connecting Two Devices via Bluetooth

The Moukey MAMP2 amplifier is designed to connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. Connecting two devices simultaneously will disrupt the audio stream. Disconnect the current device before connecting another.

Connecting to a Bluetooth Speaker

The MAMP2 amplifier is a Bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter. It cannot connect to a Bluetooth speaker. Bluetooth speakers already have their own internal amplifiers, and attempting to amplify them further with another amplifier may cause damage.

Connecting an External Bluetooth Receiver

If you wish to use an external Bluetooth receiver, connect its output end to an input port on the MAMP2 amplifier, such as the 3.5mm AUX port or the RCA AUDIO INPUT ports. Ensure you use the correct port interface converter if necessary.
