4. Setup

4.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.

4.2 Adding Engine Oil

IMPORTANT: The engine is shipped without oil. Operating the generator without sufficient oil will cause severe engine damage and void the warranty.

  1. Place the generator on a level surface.
  2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
  3. Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
  4. Slowly add the recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30, consult the engine manual for specific recommendations) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
  5. Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.

4.3 Adding Fuel

WARNING: Gasoline is highly flammable. Handle with extreme care. Do not refuel while the engine is running or hot.

  1. Ensure the generator is turned off and cooled down.
  2. Locate the fuel tank cap.
  3. Unscrew the fuel tank cap.
  4. Fill the fuel tank with Unleaded 87+ octane Gasoline (10% or less ETHANOL recommended). The maximum fuel capacity is 0.7 gallons. Do not fill above the red indicator line inside the tank.
