4.1 Battery Installation

Your remote control requires two AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install them:

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match the diagrams inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

After installing the batteries, the LCD display should light up, indicating the remote control is ready for use.

5. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the air conditioner's receiver when operating. The maximum effective range is approximately 5 meters.

5.1 Basic Operation

• Turning ON/OFF: Press the POWER button once to turn the unit ON, and press it again to turn it OFF.
• Selecting Mode: Press the COOL, HEAT, DRY, or AUTO buttons to select the desired operating mode. The selected mode will be displayed on the LCD.
• Adjusting Temperature: Use the TEMP + or TEMP - buttons to set your desired room temperature. The temperature range is typically between 16°C and 30°C (60°F and 86°F).
• Adjusting Fan Speed: Press the FAN button repeatedly to cycle through available fan speeds (e.g., Auto, Low, Medium, High).

• Timer Setting:
  1. Press the TIMER button. The timer indicator will flash on the LCD.
  2. Use the TEMP + or TEMP - buttons to set the desired ON or OFF time.
  3. Press CONFIRM/CANCEL to confirm the setting. To cancel, press CONFIRM/CANCEL again before the timer activates.
• Swing Function: Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the automatic vertical air swing. Press again to stop the louvers at a desired position.
• Quiet Mode: Press the QUIET button to reduce the operating noise of the indoor unit. Press again to exit quiet mode.
• Lock Function: Press the LOCK button to disable all other buttons on the remote control. This prevents accidental changes. Press LOCK again to unlock.
• Display Light Control: Press the LIGHT button to turn the indoor unit's display light ON or OFF.
• Extra Functions: Press the EXTRA FUNCTION button to cycle through additional settings such as Sleep mode, Healthy Airflow, Turbo Fan, Air Direction, and A-B remote setting. Use CONFIRM/CANCEL to select or deselect.
