3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the correct operation of the camera switcher. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified technician. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before beginning installation.

3.2 Connection Instructions

  1. Power Connection:
    • Connect the Red Wire to the vehicle's ACC (Accessory) power positive pole (+12V).
    • Connect the Black Wire to the vehicle's ACC power negative pole (Ground).
  2. Reverse Signal:
    • Connect the Blue Wire to the vehicle's reverse light positive wire (+12V when reverse is engaged).
  3. Camera Inputs:
    • Connect the Front Camera's video output (RCA) to the "Front Cam-in" port on the control box.
    • Connect the Rear Camera's video output (RCA) to the "Rear Cam-in" port on the control box.
  4. Video Output to Monitor:

4.1 Automatic Front View Activation

When the vehicle engine is started, the system will automatically activate the monitor and display the front camera view for approximately 8 seconds. After this duration, the system will turn off the front camera display, returning to the monitor's previous state or turning off if no other input is active.

4.2 Automatic Rear View Activation

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the system will automatically activate the rear view camera and display its feed on the monitor. After shifting out of reverse, the system will automatically switch to the front camera view for approximately 15 seconds before turning off.

4.3 Manual Front View Mode

To manually activate the front camera view at any time:

  • Press the external control switch button. The system will enter front view mode, continuously displaying the front camera feed.
  • To exit manual front view mode, press the control switch button again. The system will return to its default state or turn off the display.
