4. Installation

The BLANCO Elon XL 6 S sink is designed for top-mount (countertop) installation. It is reversible, allowing for flexible placement of the main bowl and drainer area.

4.1 Preparation

1. Ensure your base cabinet is at least 60 cm wide.
2. Carefully unpack the sink and inspect it for any damage.
3. Review the provided dimension diagrams for precise cutout measurements.

4.2 Countertop Cutout

Use the provided template (if included) or the dimensions below to create the cutout in your countertop. Precision is crucial for a proper fit.

4.3 Mounting the Sink

1. Apply a suitable sealant around the edge of the cutout to ensure a watertight seal.
2. Carefully lower the sink into the cutout, ensuring it is properly aligned.
3. Secure the sink using the provided fixing kit according to the manufacturer's instructions. Tighten evenly to prevent stress on the sink material.

4.4 Plumbing Connections

1. Install the drain fitting and space-saving pipe. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened first, then gently secured with appropriate tools.
2. Connect the 3 ½" InFino basket strainer valve and rotary drain control.
3. Connect the sink to your household plumbing system. It is recommended to have a U-bend or P-trap installed to prevent odors.
4. Once all connections are made, run water through the sink and check for any leaks.

5. Operation
