6. Operating Instructions
- Prepare for Inflation: Ensure the air compressor is placed on a stable, flat surface. Connect the air hose to the tire valve or inflatable item.
- Turn On: Locate the power switch on the compressor unit and turn it to the 'ON' position. The compressor will begin to operate.
- Monitor Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge on the air hose. Inflate the item to its recommended PSI.
- Turn Off: Once the desired pressure is reached, immediately turn the power switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Disconnect: Disconnect the air hose from the tire valve or inflatable item. Then, disconnect the power clamps from the vehicle battery.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the compressor unit with a damp cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cooling: The compressor's hollow metal shell and aluminum cylinder are designed for better heat dissipation. However, the unit will get hot during prolonged use. Always allow the compressor to cool down completely before storing it in the nylon tool bag.
- Storage: Store the compressor and its accessories in the provided heavy-duty nylon tool bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Air Filter: Periodically check the air filter for dust and debris. Clean or replace as necessary to maintain optimal performance.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not turn on. | No power connection, loose battery clamps, blown fuse, thermal cut-off activated. | Ensure secure connection to battery with engine running. Check inline fuse. Allow unit to cool if it was recently used. |
| Slow inflation or low airflow. | Air leak in hose/connections, clogged air filter, low vehicle battery voltage. | Check all connections for tightness. Clean or replace air filter. Ensure vehicle engine is running and battery is charged. |
| Unit gets very hot during use. | Normal operation, prolonged use, high ambient temperature. | This is normal. Allow the unit to cool down between uses. Do not touch hot parts. The auto-thermal cut-off will activate if it overheats. |
| Pressure gauge is inaccurate. | Inherent variance in analog gauges, reading while compressor is running. | Always turn off the compressor before taking a pressure reading for accuracy. Consider using a separate, calibrated tire pressure gauge for critical applications. |
