3. Installation
3.1 Unpacking

This appliance can be used as a built-in hob, integrated into your kitchen countertop, or as a hobtop placed directly on the counter. Ensure the surface is stable and level.

3.3 Dimensions
For built-in installation, ensure your countertop cutout matches the specified inner cutting size. The outer dimensions are for the hob's overall footprint.

3.4 Gas Connection
Gas connection must be performed by a qualified and authorized technician in accordance with local regulations and safety standards. Ensure the gas supply pressure is compatible with the appliance.
3.5 Electrical Connection
The hob requires an electrical connection for the automatic electric ignition. Connect the appliance to a properly grounded 230 Volt AC power supply. Do not use adapters or extension cords.
4. Operation
4.1 Burner Types
The KAFF HBR 784C is equipped with four high-efficiency brass burners: two triple-ring burners for intense heat and two dual-ring burners for versatile cooking.

4.2 Automatic Electric Ignition
To ignite a burner:
- Push down the corresponding control knob.
- Rotate the knob counter-clockwise to the 'Ignite' position (usually marked with a flame symbol). You will hear a clicking sound as the igniter sparks.
- Once the flame ignites, hold the knob down for a few seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the flame failure device.
- Release the knob and adjust the flame to your desired intensity. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the process.

4.3 Flame Control
The hob features ergonomic easy-grip metal knobs for precise control over the flame intensity. Rotate the knob clockwise for a lower flame and counter-clockwise for a higher flame. Always ensure the flame is stable and blue.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your hob. Always ensure the appliance is cool and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.
5.1 General Cleaning (Glass Top)
The 8mm thick black tempered glass surface is designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a mild detergent or glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can scratch or damage the glass.

5.2 Burner and Pan Support Cleaning
Remove the matt enameled pan supports and brass burners. Wash them with warm soapy water. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive scrub brush can be used. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling them on the hob.
5.3 Drip Tray Cleaning
The stainless steel drip tray collects spills and overflows. Remove the drip tray and wash it with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before placing it back.
