2. Safety Information

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (e.g., 1x AA battery for time mechanism, 2x AA batteries for flip mechanism, refer to compartment markings) ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Setting Time and Date
- On the side or back of the clock, locate the adjustment knobs or wheels. There are typically separate controls for time, day, and date.
- To set the time: Rotate the time adjustment knob (usually marked 'TIME' or with a clock icon) clockwise until the correct hour and minute are displayed. The minute flips will advance automatically.
- To set the date: Rotate the date adjustment knob (usually marked 'DATE' or with a calendar icon) to set the correct day of the month.
- To set the day/month/year: Rotate the corresponding adjustment knobs to set the correct day of the week, month, and year. Ensure the AM/PM indicator is correct for the time.

4.3 Mounting Options
The Karlsson Mini Flip Clock can be used as a freestanding desk clock or mounted on a wall.
- Freestanding: Place the clock on a stable, flat surface.
- Wall Mounting: Use the keyhole slot(s) on the back of the clock. Securely fasten a screw (not included) into the wall, leaving a small portion protruding. Align the keyhole slot(s) with the screw head(s) and slide the clock down to lock it in place. Ensure the clock is level and securely mounted before releasing.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Time Display
The clock features an analog display for hours and minutes, and a flip mechanism for the date, day, and year. Once set, the flip mechanism will automatically advance at midnight for the date and day, and at the end of the month for the month display.
5.2 Calendar Display
The calendar display shows the current year, month, and day of the month. This feature automatically updates, providing a clear overview of the current date.
5.3 Alarm Function
To set the alarm:
- Locate the alarm setting knob (often marked 'ALARM' or with an alarm icon) on the back or side of the clock.
- Rotate this knob to set the desired alarm time.
- Locate the alarm ON/OFF switch or button. Move it to the 'ON' position to activate the alarm.
- When the alarm sounds, it can typically be silenced by pressing a snooze/light button or by moving the alarm switch to 'OFF'.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the clock's movement becomes erratic or stops. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
