1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, fire, or other injuries that could be hazardous or even fatal. Keep this manual for future reference.

• WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.
• WARNING: Risk of fire. Use only on 120V AC, 60Hz circuits.
• CAUTION: Suitable for damp locations. Do not use where directly exposed to water.
• IC Rated: Suitable for direct contact with insulation.
• Ensure all electrical connections are in accordance with local codes and ordinances, National Electric Code (NEC), and ANSI/NFPA 70-1999.
• Do not alter, relocate, or remove wiring.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the light fixture. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

2. Product Overview

The Ensenior 4 Pack 4 Inch LED Recessed Light is an ultra-thin, canless wafer ceiling light designed for various indoor applications. It offers high brightness, energy efficiency, and adjustable color temperature options to suit different environments.

• Color Temperature: This specific model provides 5000K Daylight. Other variants may offer 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 6000K.

3. What's in the Box

5. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for a hassle-free installation. Always ensure power is disconnected before starting.

1. Prepare the Ceiling: Use the provided cutting template to mark and cut a hole in the ceiling. The recommended hole size is 4.25" to 4.6".
2. Connect Wiring: Open the junction box. Connect the household electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding terminals inside the junction box. Ensure secure connections.
3. Connect Light Panel: Connect the male/female cable from the junction box to the light fixture.
4. Mount Light: Push the spring clips on the light fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. The clips will secure the light in place.

6. Operating Instructions

The Ensenior LED Recessed Light is designed for simple operation once installed.

6.1 Dimming Function

This light fixture is 5%-100% dimmable. Use a compatible LED dimmer switch (sold separately) to adjust the brightness level to your preference. Ensure the dimmer is rated for LED lighting to prevent flickering or damage.

6.2 Color Temperature Adjustment (for 5CCT models only)

Note: This specific model (4I-5000K-4PACK) is fixed at 5000K Daylight. The following instructions apply to multi-CCT models only.

For models with multiple color temperature options (e.g., 5CCT), a switch is located on the side of the junction box. Before installation, select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) by sliding the switch. Once installed, the color temperature cannot be changed without removing the fixture to access the switch.

7. Dimmer Compatibility Guide

For optimal dimming performance, use dimmers listed in the compatibility guide below. Other models may also be suitable, but compatibility is not guaranteed.

8. Recommended Spacing

Proper spacing of recessed lights ensures even illumination and avoids dark spots. For a 4-inch light, a general recommendation is 2-4 feet between fixtures, depending on ceiling height and desired brightness.

9. Maintenance

Ensenior LED Recessed Lights are designed for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• No User-Serviceable Parts: The LED module is integrated and not replaceable. Do not attempt to open or repair the fixture.

10. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Ensenior LED Recessed Light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the power supply is connected correctly.
  • Verify that the circuit breaker is not tripped.
  • Ensure all wiring connections in the junction box are secure.
  • Confirm the male/female connector between the light and junction box is fully engaged.
• Light flickers:
  • Ensure you are using a compatible LED dimmer switch. Refer to the Dimmer Compatibility Guide.
  • Check for loose wiring connections.
• Light is not the expected brightness:
  • Adjust the dimmer switch to its maximum setting.
  • Verify the power supply voltage is 120V.
