5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Melting the Wax

  1. Power On: Plug the machine into a suitable electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Set Temperature/Timer: Use the control buttons to set your desired temperature or activate the timer function. The heating temperature range is 86-158°F (30-70°C). The timer can be set from 1 to 99 minutes. For initial melting, a higher temperature setting will melt the wax faster.

  3. Wax Melting: Allow the wax to melt completely. The high-quality alloy heating pot ensures quick and even melting, typically within 30 minutes, depending on the amount of wax.

  4. Insert Grid: Once the wax is fully melted and at your desired safe temperature, place the heat insulating grid into the bottom of the pot. This prevents direct contact with the heating element.

5.2. Applying the Wax Treatment

  1. Prepare Skin: Ensure the area to be treated (hands, feet, or elbows) is clean and dry. Remove any jewelry.
  2. Test Temperature: Before dipping, test a small amount of wax on your wrist to ensure the temperature is comfortable and safe.
  3. Dip Application: Slowly and carefully dip your hand, foot, or elbow into the melted paraffin wax. Do not touch the bottom of the pot. Immediately withdraw and allow the wax to solidify slightly (a few seconds). Repeat this process 3-5 times to build up several layers of wax.

  4. Cover and Relax: After applying the desired layers, cover the waxed area with a disposable plastic liner, then place it into an insulated mitt or bootie. This helps retain heat and enhance the treatment.
  5. Treatment Duration: Allow the wax to remain on the skin for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove Wax: Gently peel off the solidified wax. The wax should come off easily, taking with it dead skin cells. Discard the used wax.
  7. Moisturize: After removing the wax, apply a moisturizer to lock in the hydration.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Machine

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the machine from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove Solidified Wax: Once the wax has solidified, it can usually be lifted out in a single block. If necessary, gently use a plastic scraper (do not use metal objects) to remove any remaining wax from the inner pot.
  3. Wipe Clean: Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

6.2. Storage

Store the machine in its original packaging or a clean, dry place when not in use. Ensure the lid is closed to protect the interior from dust.
