Setup and Installation

The Scout Light Pro features a unique Low-Profile Mount (LPM) that allows for optimal positioning on your firearm. This mount utilizes a pivoting mechanism to ensure the light sits as tight to the rail as possible, regardless of the firearm platform (e.g., SCAR, AK, M4, AR).

Mounting Procedure:

1. Ensure the main screw on the Low-Profile Mount is slightly loose to allow the Scout Light to swivel freely.
2. Attach the appropriate cleat (Picatinny or M-LOK) to your firearm's rail or fore-end. For the Picatinny version, tighten the single flat-head screw. For the M-LOK version, tighten the two Allen-head screws.
3. Once the cleat is securely mounted, pivot the Scout Light into your desired position. The pivoting feature allows you to tuck the light up into the rail, achieving a very low-profile setup that reduces snagging and is ideal when running other accessories like lasers.
4. After positioning the light, hand-tighten the main screw on the LPM. Then, give it an additional quarter-turn past hand-tight to ensure it is snug and will not come loose during use.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

To replace the battery, unscrew the tailcap counter-clockwise. Remove the depleted CR123A battery and insert a new one with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the light. Screw the tailcap back on securely until hand-tight.

Regular cleaning will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Scout Light Pro. Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe down the exterior of the light and mount. For stubborn dirt, a damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by thorough drying. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or internal components.
