Unlocking the Device and Deactivating the Alarm
- Insert the key into the lock cylinder.
- Turn the key to disengage the locking mechanism.
- Remove the disc lock from the brake disc. The alarm will automatically disarm upon unlocking.

Maintenance
Battery Charging
The Alpha XA14 is powered by a rechargeable high-power lithium polymer battery. When the battery level is low, the alarm may emit a series of warning beeps or fail to arm. Recharge the battery promptly using the provided USB cable as described in the "Initial Charging" section.
General Care
- Keep the disc lock clean and free from dirt and debris.
- Periodically lubricate the lock cylinder with a suitable lock lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
- Store the disc lock in a dry environment when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Alarm not arming or sounding: Check the battery level. Recharge the unit if necessary. Ensure the lock pin is fully engaged.
- Lock mechanism stiff: Apply a small amount of lock lubricant to the keyhole and the locking pin area.
- Key difficult to insert or turn: Ensure the key is clean and free of debris. Do not force the key. Lubricate the lock cylinder.
- False alarms: Ensure the lock is securely fitted and the vehicle is stable. Extreme vibrations or strong winds might occasionally trigger the alarm.
