3. Add & Weigh Function

The "Add & Weigh" (Tare) function allows you to measure multiple ingredients in the same bowl, saving on washing up. To use:

  1. Place your first ingredient (or an empty bowl) on the scale.
  2. Press the "ZERO" button (often marked with a circle and a line through it) to reset the display to '0'.
  3. Add the next ingredient. The scale will display the weight of only the newly added ingredient.
  4. Repeat the process for all subsequent ingredients.

4. Aquatronic Function (Measuring Liquids)

The Aquatronic function allows for accurate measurement of liquids and fluids. When selecting 'ml' or 'fl. oz' units, the scale automatically converts the weight to volume, assuming the density of water. For other liquids, this may be an approximation.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

The hygienic glass weighing platform is easy to clean. Wipe the scale with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse the scale in water or use abrasive cleaning agents, as this can damage the electronic components.

2. Storage

Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and humidity. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use, as this can affect its calibration over time.

3. Battery Replacement

If the display becomes dim or the scale does not turn on, it may be time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section.
