This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your AFI Colorado Queen Size Platform Bed. The Colorado bed features a simple, symmetrical design, constructed from solid hardwood and veneers, and includes a convenient surface-mount turbo charging station.
Safety Information

Setup and Assembly

Step 1: Prepare the Area
Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
Step 2: Assemble the Frame
Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not overtighten until the frame is fully assembled.

Step 3: Install Center Support and Slats
Place the center support rail (if included) and any support legs. Distribute the wooden slats evenly across the frame. Secure each slat to the side rails using screws. The slat kit is designed to support your mattress directly, eliminating the need for a box spring and promoting airflow.

Step 4: Install Charging Station
Locate the designated mounting area on the side rail or headboard. Secure the surface mount turbo charger using the provided screws. Plug the 6-foot cord into a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions (Charging Station)
The integrated surface mount turbo charger features two USB ports (5V/3.5A) for convenient charging of electronic devices. Simply plug your device's USB cable into one of the ports. Ensure the bed is plugged into a functional wall outlet for the charging station to operate.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame with a dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Hardware: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
- Charging Station: Keep the charging ports free of dust and debris. Do not expose the charging station to liquids.
