Setup
- Unfold the Solar Panel: Carefully unfold the BigBlue 25W Solar Panel Charger completely to expose all solar cells.
- Position for Optimal Sunlight: Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. For best results, position the panel at a 90-degree angle perpendicular to the sun's rays. The ideal operating temperature for solar panels is around 25°C (77°F).
- Secure the Panel: Use the included carabiners or elastic strap to securely attach the panel to a backpack, tent, or other stable surface to prevent movement.
- Connect Your Device: Open the protective flap on the control box to access the USB-A and USB-C ports. Connect your device (e.g., cellphone, tablet, power bank) using the appropriate USB cable.

Operating Instructions
- Direct Power: The solar charger does not contain a built-in battery. It requires direct sunlight to work and must be connected to your handheld device while exposed to sunlight.
- Automatic Restart Function: The charger features an automatic restart function. If sunlight is weak or clouds pass by, the solar charger will repeatedly restart. This can temporarily drain power from the connected device.
- Charging Multiple Devices: The charger can power two devices simultaneously via its USB-A and USB-C ports. The total output is 5V/4A Max.
- Power Output: USB-A provides 5V/2.4A Max. USB-C provides 5V/3A Max.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the solar panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: The panel is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance, meaning it can withstand splashes and light rain. However, the junction box (where the USB ports are located) is not waterproof. Avoid exposing the junction box to water.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the solar panel and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting
- Device Not Charging:
- Ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight and fully unfolded.
- Check the connection between the solar panel and your device. Try a different USB cable.
- Verify that your device is compatible with the charger's output specifications.
- Intermittent Charging:
- This can occur due to fluctuating sunlight (e.g., passing clouds). The charger's auto-restart function will attempt to resume charging.
- Reposition the panel to ensure consistent direct sunlight.
- Low Charging Speed:
- Ensure the panel is positioned at the optimal 90-degree angle to the sun.
- Check for any obstructions (e.g., shade, dirt) on the solar cells.
- Charging speed can be affected by weather conditions and device battery level.
