1. Connecting via LIGHTSPEED Wireless

  1. Locate the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver. It is typically found in the product packaging or stored in a compartment on the keyboard itself.
  2. Plug the LIGHTSPEED USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch located on the top edge of the keyboard.

2. Connecting via Bluetooth

  1. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth connection button (indicated by a Bluetooth logo) on the keyboard until the indicator light above it starts blinking blue. This puts the keyboard in pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "G915 TKL" from the list of available devices.
  4. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light should turn solid blue upon successful connection.

3. Charging the Keyboard

Connect the supplied USB charging/data cable to the micro-USB port on the keyboard and the other end to a USB port on your computer or a USB power adapter. The battery indicator light will show charging status. A full charge provides approximately 40 hours of gaming with LIGHTSYNC RGB enabled.

Low battery warnings are indicated by the keyboard battery LED and a pop-up notification in the Logitech G HUB software when the battery reaches 15%.

4. Installing Logitech G HUB Software

For full customization of RGB lighting, key assignments, and other advanced features, download and install the Logitech G HUB software from the official Logitech G website. This software is compatible with Windows 7 or later (64-bit) and macOS X 10.11 or later.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your G915 TKL keyboard.

1. Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the surface. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • For cleaning between keycaps, use compressed air to remove dust and debris.
  • If necessary, keycaps can be carefully removed for deeper cleaning, but exercise caution to avoid damaging the switches.

2. Keycap Care

While the G915 TKL is built with durable materials, prolonged use can lead to wear on keycap legends. Avoid excessive force when typing and keep hands clean to minimize oil transfer that can accelerate wear.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your G915 TKL keyboard, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Connectivity Issues

  • No Connection (LIGHTSPEED): Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port. Make sure the keyboard is turned on and the LIGHTSPEED button is pressed.
  • No Connection (Bluetooth): Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Put the keyboard into pairing mode (blinking blue light). Remove "G915 TKL" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to re-pair.
  • Intermittent Connection: Ensure the keyboard is within range of the receiver/device. Avoid sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices, large metal objects). Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.

2. RGB Lighting Problems

  • Lights Not Working: Check if LIGHTSYNC RGB is enabled in Logitech G HUB software. Ensure the keyboard is charged.
  • Incorrect Colors/Effects: Verify settings in Logitech G HUB. Try resetting the lighting profile.

3. Key Responsiveness Issues

  • Keys Not Registering: Clean under the affected keycap with compressed air to remove any debris. Ensure the keyboard is connected and powered on.
  • Double Presses: This can sometimes be caused by debris under the keycap or a software issue. Clean the key as described above. Ensure Logitech G HUB software is up to date.

4. Battery Life Concerns

  • Short Battery Life: Ensure the keyboard is fully charged. High brightness settings for RGB lighting can significantly reduce battery life; consider lowering brightness or disabling lighting when not needed.
  • Not Charging: Try a different USB cable or USB port. Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the power source.
