Product Overview

The EverNary Wireless Caregiver Pager Motion Sensor Alarm system is designed to provide alerts when motion is detected. This system includes one plug-in receiver and one motion sensor, offering a reliable solution for monitoring movement in various settings. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the plug-in receiver and motion sensor from their packaging.
2. Power the Receiver: Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet. The receiver will power on and indicate readiness.
3. Power the Motion Sensor: The motion sensor is battery-operated (2 AAA batteries included) and can also be powered via a USB cable (not included). Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted or connect a USB power source. Turn the sensor ON using the power switch.
4. Select Ringtone and Volume: On the receiver, use the designated buttons to cycle through the 58 available ringtones and adjust the volume to one of the 5 levels (0-110dB). A short press on the volume button adjusts the level.
5. Pairing the Devices:
   • Ensure the motion sensor is ON and positioned away from immediate movement.
   • Press and HOLD the receiver's volume (upper) button for 5 seconds until it sounds and its LED lights begin flashing. This indicates pairing mode.
   • Within 5 seconds of the receiver entering pairing mode, wave your hand in front of the motion sensor to activate it.
   • Successful pairing will be confirmed when the receiver activates the selected ringtone upon motion detection by the sensor.
6. Placement: Position the motion sensor in the desired monitoring area. It detects movement within a 16.4ft range and a 110° angle. Test the detection range before final installation. The sensor includes an adjustable mounting bracket for optimal positioning.

Operating Instructions

• Motion Detection: Once the sensor is powered on and paired with the receiver, it will detect movement within its specified range (up to 16.4 feet) and angle (110°).
• Alerts: Upon detection, the receiver will emit the selected ringtone and its LED lights will flash, providing both auditory and visual alerts.
• Wireless Range: The system operates wirelessly, transmitting signals to receivers within 500 feet (150 meters) in open areas and 10-50 meters indoors, depending on environmental factors like walls and doors.
• Adjusting Settings: You can change the ringtone and volume at any time using the buttons on the receiver.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The motion sensor requires 2 AAA alkaline batteries. Replace them when the alarm sounds continuously without motion, indicating low battery.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of both the receiver and the motion sensor. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Environmental Conditions: Ensure the devices are kept away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture to maintain optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

• No Alert When Motion Detected:
  • Check if the motion sensor is powered on and its batteries are fresh.
  • Ensure the receiver is plugged in and powered.
  • Verify that the devices are properly paired. If not, repeat the pairing process outlined in the Setup section.
  • Check the distance between the sensor and receiver; they might be out of range or have too many obstructions.
• Continuous Alarm Without Motion: This often indicates that the motion sensor batteries are low and need to be replaced. Replace both AAA batteries in the sensor.
• Accidental Ringtone Changes: The ringtone adjustment buttons are sensitive. Be mindful when handling the receiver to avoid unintentional changes.
• Limited Volume Options: The receiver offers 5 volume levels. If a lower volume is desired than the lowest setting, consider placing the receiver in a less direct location or partially muffling the sound.
