4. Setup and Installation
The AIRO COMFORT Portable Air Conditioner is designed for easy setup. Follow these steps for quick installation:
- Position the Unit: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface near a window. The unit features 360° swiveling wheels for easy movement.
- Install Window Kit: Adjust the window slider kit to fit your window opening (suitable for double/single-hung and sliding windows). Secure the window sliders with locking screws and apply the foam seal for optimal insulation.
- Attach Exhaust Hose: Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust port and the other end to the window kit adapter. Ensure a secure connection to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
- Connect Drainage Tube (Optional for Dehumidifier Mode): For continuous drainage in dehumidifier mode, connect the drainage tube to the designated port and direct it to a suitable drain or container.
- Power On: Plug the unit into a standard 115V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions
The AIRO COMFORT Portable Air Conditioner features an intuitive LED display and touch controls for easy operation.
Control Panel Overview:

- Power Button: Turns the unit On/Off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cooling, Fan, and Dehumidifier modes.
- Temperature Adjustment (+/-): Sets the desired temperature in Cooling mode.
- Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Timer Button: Sets a timer for automatic On/Off operation.
- Sleep Mode: Reduces fan noise and turns off LED display for undisturbed sleep.
- Swing Function: Activates automatic wind swing motion for even air distribution.
Modes of Operation:
- Cooling Mode: Provides powerful air conditioning to lower room temperature. Set your desired temperature using the +/- buttons.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling, ideal for general air movement. Adjust fan speed as needed.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, reducing humidity. Connect the drainage tube for continuous operation.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your AIRO COMFORT unit.
Filter Cleaning:
The unit features an easy-to-clean dual-layer filter. It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Locate the filter access panel on the back of the unit.
- Remove the filter by gently pulling it out.
- Rinse the filter under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct sunlight.

Drainage:
In dehumidifier mode, or if the internal water tank becomes full in cooling mode, the unit will indicate a full tank. Drain the water using the provided drainage tube or by manually emptying the internal reservoir.
